Pinatubo Trek

After the rough 4x4 drive through a rough terrain, we finally reached the foot of Mount Pinatubo. The road is stiff and rocky full of big boulders. The ride is tiring but seeing the place is amazing enough and no amount of tiredness can hold us to reach the top. We took some pics and rested for a while.
We started trekking aiming to reach the top early

The heat of the sun makes it more difficult and tiring. You really need caps and towel and a lot of strength and endurance to reach the top. Wearing the right shoes for this terrain is a must to avoid sprains.

We need to pass streams by walking on big boulders

It seems to be an endless walk from differet side of the world. Wisnu sit for a while to regain his strength

Support is needed to pass through....

Wow!! Hercules or Samson?

You need to sit and inch by inch, you need to pass though this big boulder. If you don't want to pass this ordeal, then you must be ready to walk directly in the stream, that is, if you want to have a wet shoes :)

After the long trek, we really need to drink this refreshing natural spring water to revive your strength. You need to stop, sit and relax for a few minutes....

According to the tour guides, and of course in my research, there are trekkers who gave up and doesn't reach the top because of tiredness and exhaustion. But Wisnu is very determined to see the crater and need to massage his knees to make it to the top...
